All requests are subject to approval, and a consultation is required prior to scheduling. This service is particularly advantageous for those who discover that working in the company of another person — even silently — makes it easier to start, sustain, and complete their work. Too big for your car, too small for a moving company? Need something moved or hauled away? We assist with errands assistance, including dump or recycling runs, furniture moves, donation drop-offs, bulky item transport, garage cleanouts, and other light hauling needs throughout the Manhattan area. While not a professional moving company, we offer light hauling assistance for items up to 50 pounds. For heavier or larger bulky items, prior approval is needed, and 2-3 assistants will be required. We also provide body doubling services for wedding support to help make your special day seamless.

Helping seniors stay independent, connected, and supported, Altura's Senior Assistance Services provide compassionate, non-medical support to help older adults maintain their independence and engage with their community. Our services include companionship, errands assistance, and even body doubling for those who need extra motivation while tackling tasks.
